My Mom died three years ago, in 2004. I still miss her terribly, and especially so when I am in my garden. Plants from her former home, that I dug up, and replanted here, still bloom annually. I suppose you would call that a "sweet sorrow".
Anyway, not to be too maudlin, today would have been her birthday. Happy Birthday, Mom. You are in my thoughts, and in my heart. I love you.

The geraniums are gorgeous. My grandfather passed away 13 years ago and for years I kept his beloved geraniums going. Very beautiful way to remember your mom :)
